Hi, I’m Kelly Rayner!

We can’t wait to see what you have in store for your biggest day.

Lindsey + Kelly!

Originally from London and New York, I came down to New Orleans for college (Go Wolfpack!)  and like so many others, caught the bug and never left.

I have worked in the tourism and events industry at multiple levels for over 10 years. For a short period, I transitioned into a corporate hotel environment. Turns out I don’t like suits or desks but I do love hospitality. Then one day, this charming tiny resort turned up on the market (insert shameless self promotion: www.lookoutneworleans.com). And so I turned in the suits for a housekeeping bucket and became my very own innkeeper. And I continue to manage and coordinate events!

I have worked at a variety of venues across the city, even transforming some spaces INTO venues. There is no wedding or event too large or too small, and the same goes for budget. I love the client who embraces planning of the big day, but then also wants to step away to fully enjoy it. I will take your vision and your list of vendor selections and design choices and implement them for the perfect execution of your event.

When I’m not housekeeping or managing wild bridal parties, you can catch me planning my next adventure, cooking up a storm and enjoying sno balls with my daughter, Florence (6), bulldog Jolene and husband Mark.

Hi! I’m Lindsey Hages!

….and I am a lead coordinator alongside Kelly. I migrated my way down to the south after spending the first 23 years of my life growing up in the frozen tundra. I was born and raised in North Dakota where I attended the University of North Dakota, studying Marketing & Sport Business. After meeting my husband on campus, who is a native Louisianian, I realized life can be much warmer and sunnier in the winter so I quickly escaped to New Orleans after graduating in 2010.

Shortly thereafter, I began my professional career with the New Orleans Pelicans (then Hornets) where I worked in Live Programming & Entertainment until the end of 2019. As our family started to grow, I pressed pause on my full-time career in sports. However, not wanting to give up my love for live events, I joined RaynerShine to help create these unforgettable moments for couples as well as produce and manage logistics for other large scale public and private events.

When I am not gearing up for the first dances, you can find me making fun and quirky earrings, chasing after my two brilliantly beautiful children, Evelyn (7) and Ricky (3), trying to jet set around the world with my pilot husband, or obsessing over every cat or kitten that crosses my path.
